Adult Sailing Classes

Learn the art of sailing from local experts

The Adult Sailing class is designed to introduce beginners to the art of sailing. By the end of the class, students will be able to operate a small boat in inland waters in light to medium wind and water conditions. The emphasis is on practical sailing skills. Successful completion of the course leads to U.S. Sailing Small Boat Certification. Each class will consist of one classroom session on Friday evening before the first-weekend session.  Two weekends in a row will be dedicated to practicing on the water. Graduates are encouraged to join the Rudder Club and practice their freshly learned skills on the club boats available for rent.

Cost: The course is $300.00 per student for the entire four-day course on the St. Johns River with professional group instruction.
